I know that Might & Magic Heroes 7 was not well received and it had many flaws, bugs and bad AI but Im surprised that not alot of people are aware of the huge 7.5 Ultimate modification. It basically not only fixes what was wrong with the original (including improved AI and fixing tons of bugs) but also adds 5 new factions and much more content.
Heroes 5 is an excellent game - it has so much of what was great about Heroes 3, and truly is a lot of fun. However, you have to push through a lot of what seems like poor optimization by the developers in order to get to the enjoyable parts, and not everyone will be able to stomach the kinds of issues that were almost completely absent from

you need to look at russin sites of homm5, try using google.ru and tape homm5 campaigns and translate the sites using google translate. russians have a lot of stuf for hereos ;) they have a lot of user maps for all versions of HOMM. most are rated by users, and have comments and discussion so you can learn if any issues, or provide feedback
